We're always looking for players who want to compete at a high level and help grow box lacrosse in the Mountain West. Here's what it takes to suit up for the Storm.
Being a Storm player is a commitment as much as it's an honor. Before you reach out, make sure you can meet the following:
Make at least 80% of practices and games across the season — the team relies on you showing up.
Team dues are due before the season opener and cover league fees, floor time, and shared gear.
Players must be 18 or older by the start of the season to compete in the Box Lacrosse League.
You can't be on a current PLL or NLL roster — active pro-league players aren't eligible to suit up for the Storm.
A signed liability waiver is required before your first practice.
Attend an open tryout or submit recent game footage so our coaching staff can evaluate your fit.
Represent the club well on and off the floor — good sportsmanship and a team-first attitude are non-negotiable.
Some games are on the road — players need reliable transportation and flexibility for away trips.
Meet the requirements above and ready to compete? Reach out with your playing background and we'll follow up with tryout details.
